During my upbringing in the 80s, my parents initially belonged to the Lutheran faith, but later they began attending Grace C&MA Church in Middleburg Heights, where all four of us siblings naturally joined. It was in that church that I first encountered Jesus during Vacation Bible School. I heard the Gospel message and accepted it. Since then, my journey, like all of us, has been filled with ups and downs. I have experienced doubts and struggled with my human desires. However, every day I am confident about spending eternity with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I want to clarify that this confidence is solely because of Him, not because of anything I have done or failed to do (Ephesians 2:8-9).In 2004, I met my wife, Aleksandra, and we got married in her home country of Poland the following year. We are blessed with two daughters, Ann and Megan. After attending Grace C&MA Church in Middleburg for over 33 years, Aleksandra and I decided to become involved in a C&MA Church plant in Parma, Ohio. We actively served on the leadership and worship team. Unfortunately, the church plant was halted due to the arrival of COVID-19. Consequently, we sought a new community of believers to gather with and ended up at Old Brooklyn, where my brother-in-law, Tom Csora, serves as the lead pastor. Serving at Old Brooklyn brings us great joy. We appreciate the church’s strong sense of family and the opportunity to use our abilities to advance God’s Kingdom in the Cleveland area. Being the hands and feet of Jesus is something we cherish. Aleksandra leads worship, and I contribute by assisting with live-streaming. I have also been privileged to deliver a few sermons and lead our Adult Bible study on Sunday mornings. We eagerly anticipate witnessing lives transformed by Jesus and helping others become disciples through His Word.
